Abstract

One hundred years after Clemente Estable's first publication, the Uruguayan Society of the History of Medicine pays tribute to him with a special session. This introduction presents a biographical sketch of the visionary creator of biological research in Uruguay, highlighting his legacy on the centenary of his first scientific contribution.

    Docente. Obtuvo su diploma de Doctor en Medicina en el año 1972, y su título de Ginecotocólogo en 1976. Autor de numerosos artículos y libros.
