Ethics in the editorial process is essential to maintain the quality and integrity of the texts resulting from research.

SUHM adheres to the guidelines based on the principles of transparency and good practices in academic publications established by the Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE. Best Practice Guidelines as well as the Code of Ethics approved by the Uruguayan Association of Academic Journals. These standards are valid during all stages of the selection and publication processes, and apply to all participants, including authors, reviewers, editors and the editorial committee.
